Questions to answer for your jurisdiction

• Is trading on prediction markets treated as investment income, gambling winnings, or something else?
• Is income taxable when a market resolves, when you withdraw, or when you convert to fiat?
• Do you need to report crypto holdings or exchange accounts separately?
• Is Polymarket available where you live? The platform restricts a list of jurisdictions in its terms; using it from a restricted one violates those terms.

What to keep regardless

Export your trade history, keep deposit and withdrawal hashes, and note the date and fiat value of each conversion. Every tax regime asks for the same records.
